A big week for Communisis at the RetailEXPO 2019

Company news • 03 May 2019

It was a big week for us as we sponsored and exhibited at the RetailEXPO held at Olympia in London across 1 & 2 May 2019.

RetailEXPO is the major conference and exhibition taking place in the calendar where brands, retailers and suppliers come together to look at the future of retail both in the UK and globally.

We were sole sponsor of the Marketing & Branding Stage where our very own Martin Smith was a panelist for the discussion around “evolving in-store communications and displays to drive sales”, alongside industry experts from Britvic, COTY and POPAI UK and Ireland.

Followed later on in the afternoon by Andrew Wood (Woody to most!) who took to the TrIED It Talks stage to discuss the complexities of managing the ecosystem involved in getting fully stocked off shelf displays to retail outlets effectively.

Our very own EE team took home the award for IT, Telecomms and Electricals at The International VM Awards, announced at the RetailEXPO. Against some tough competition, we won the award for our work with EE and ‘The Wishlish Workshop’ experiential campaign which ran over Christmas.

If winning at the RetailEXPO wasn’t enough, the shortlist for this years POPAI awards was also announced. The POPAI Awards celebrate creativity, innovation and excellence in-store and throughout the shopper experience.

We are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted for four awards this year, across three categories; two with P&G, one with EE and one with Bacardi Brown Forman; with the winners set to be announced at a Gala dinner later on this year in October.

Well done to everyone involved and watch this space for when the awards are announced in October!
