Colour management is the controlled conversion between the colours of various colour devices, such as monitors, digital proofers, offset presses, etc.
The primary goal of colour management is to obtain an accurate match across colour devices; for example, a brochure that should appear the same colour on a computer LCD monitor, a digital proof, and on the finished printed product.
Communisis operates a Colour management system that helps to achieve the same appearance on all of these devices.
Communisis works to a colour management standard ISO12647-2 and to achieve this rigorous quality standard, we’ve calibrated offset presses, proofers, monitors, etc. to this standard and perform regular calibration checks to ensure consistency.
As part of Communisis supplier management systems, we also demand the same colour standards to be achieved by suppliers. They work closely with Communisis in measuring their settings through colorimeters and spectrophotometers.
This provides our clients the consistent results they are demanding.
